  • Popis: English language infotainment produced by the Swedish Film Institute (SFI), to be shown at American department store chain Gimbels during a Swedish-themed week. The film advertises the Institute’s work by showing the newly built Film Institute, and the shooting of a children’s film financed with production funding from the SFI. The camera moves through the Film House, home of the SFI, and demonstrates the resources and activities that were there at the time: the SFI’s two film publications, the Cinematheque cinemas, the studios for film production where a colour test for a future Ingmar Bergman film – clearly Cries and Whispers/Viskningar och rop (1973) – is being prepared, the library and archive with their important collections, the University College of Film, Radio, Television and Theatre (including a TV studio), the University of Dance and Circus (including a dance studio), Stockholm University’s institutes for Film and Theatre Studies, and the Drottningholm Theatre Museum Foundation.
